About DrJacket
DrJacket is part of the company Prototype Styling/DrJacket. This company has its roots going back to 1990. Over the years, the founder has built exceptionally good relationships with tanneries and suppliers from France, Italy, and Portugal. These companies supply the finest quality leather to all the major fashion houses around the world. Originally, the initiator of DrJacket created leather designs for the
biannual couture shows, commissioned by the big names, and has produced more than 1,500 unique, tailor-made creations for both men and women.

The entrepreneur behind DrJacket is Maurice Eduard Verlinden. He has worked with leather since 1990. Already during his higher fashion education at the AMFI, his passion for high-quality leather became evident early on. In 1990, he founded the company Prototype Styling, located at Overtoom 336 in Amsterdam. There, he launched his exclusive leather brand ‘Mô’. Through this combination, the founder worked for all the big names and produced all the leather pieces for haute couture shows twice a year. These were demanding clients when it came to quality. That was, among other things, the springboard for his great specialty and affinity with haute couture in leather. Always searching for the newest types, textures, treatments, and colors.

At DrJacket, we absolutely have the solution. We already stock that quality leather or order it by color — and have it delivered within 3 days.
Maintenance
A leather jacket needs regular maintenance. Over the years, the leather dries out. It can even form mold if stored in a slightly humid environment. It's also hard to remove stains from, for example, the inside collar.
Tailoring
Over time, everyone’s body changes — sleeves may need shortening. Or you may have gained or lost weight, which means we can adjust the jacket to fit better. Some customers want to tailor their favorite jacket to pass it on to their son or daughter. The only thing needed is an adjustment in size.
Restyling
Often, a jacket from a certain era is iconic and unique because it reflects the fashion of its time.
There's a good chance the person receiving the jacket would also like to have it altered or modernized.
